EU foreign ministers gave their final approval to the European External Action Service (EEAS), paving the way for the diplomatic corps “to come into being” by December 2010. The Council of Foreign Ministers of 26 July approved also a series of statements governing the operation of the European External Action Service (organiganisation, appointments, European structures of protection …)
