« We have to (re)learn to communicate with our hearts. Our heart is a second brain. »

« Mon cœur, mon stress, ma santé » : The copyright of the book has been donated in full to the Chaîne de l’Espoir: in some countries, underprivileged children do not have access to quality healthcare: the Belgian branch of the Chaîne de l’Espoir fights this injustice from birth.

My Hearth, my Stress, my Health
Repeated, increasing and chronic stress is a major cause of mental, cardiovascular and vascular disease. As such, it is a serious issue and a real risk factor that needs to be considered in the same way as smoking, high blood pressure and diabetes.
How can we detect the signs of stress and anxiety?
How can we bring the heart and mind into balance?
How can we relearn how to communicate with our heart?
During this conference, Christophe Scavée, Professor of Cardiology-Rhythmology and Clinics Director at the Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, will answer these questions and discuss some techniques that can become therapeutic approaches complementary to medication. Professor Scavée Christophe specialises in cardiology, particularly in the field of rhythm disorders (rhythmology). His interests cover all aspects of this complex speciality, in particular arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and sudden death.
