On Thursday 15 June, DGs will publish the list of people proposed for promotion in Sysper: they will be followed on Monday 26 June by the list of people proposed for reclassification. From the day of publication, you will then have 5 working days to introduce an appeal if you are not proposed by your Directorate General/office and feel that you deserved a promotion / reclassification this year, on the basis of:

  • Your seniority in the grade
  • Your merits as reflected in your appraisal reports
  • Your responsibilities
  • The languages used in the service

For many years, R&D has provided you with all the necessary assistance and expertise to enable you to successfully submit an appeal to the Promotion / Reclassification Committees.

DGs have not received any quota in the grade AST1, AST2 and AST4/D grades: you can use the template n°2 if you wish to submit an appeal. You will find attached the templates, which can be used as a basis for the preparation of your appeal.

R&D representatives are there to help you and defend your rights at all stages of these exercises.
